This was a good lesson in how God watches over us.
We were driving out in the country side on our way to yet another job interview.
Being newly married and looking for a place to start our new life, we
were excited about the possibilities.
We came to a very narrow bridge. Just in front of us was a farm tractor
with large metal disc attached, the kind that tear up the ground before
planting begins. It was at a stand still, trying to decide if it could
cross the bridge.
We had been discussing angels and how God uses them to protect His
people.
Suddenly, we became aware of a car speeding toward us. If it hit us at
that rate of speed, it would push our car into the tractor. And there
were those big, gleaming, metal disc to think about.
We were in trouble. We asked out loud for God to please help us! Send
us your angels now!
The speeding car was almost upon us. When, suddenly it left the road.
It smoothly came to rest down in the field beside of us. It's driver was
uninjured. We weren't even touched! And there was such a feeling of
calmness....of peace!
We experienced God's protection that day. And saw His angels at work in
our lives. It was a moment with the Father that we'll NEVER forget!
